About
I’m a Principal Product Designer based in Dublin. For the last fifteen years I’ve worked on the products companies bet their direction on. CX platforms, AI tools, mobile, enterprise.
I design above the screen. The work that’s mattered most started before there was a brief, when the idea was still loose enough to be shaped.
That’s the work I do best. The early, exploratory phase, when a team is grappling for the right question and chasing what-if moments together. Building ideas with the people who’ll build them, then working through the design and the story until the company can act on it.
I’m currently at Productboard, working on Spark, the product behind the company’s AI-first repositioning. Before that, six years at Zendesk, where a concept I originated evolved into Agent Copilot, now a core Zendesk feature. Earlier, I was first designer at Boxever, an AI platform later acquired by Sitecore.
My background spans CX, mobile, and enterprise. Systems with real complexity, real stakes, and not much room for surface-level thinking. I treat every design problem as an architecture problem first. You have to understand the whole before you can design any part of it. And I’ve learned that the work doesn’t land on its own, so I’ve gotten good at telling the story too, whether that’s to a CPO, a board, or a team that needs to believe in something before it exists.
Looking for ambitious problems, curious people, and roles where design shapes the direction and the outcome.
